My freshly smell riding boots

After I removed the frustrating odor from my marlborough riding boots. I have been wearing them all day long. Now I am studying at the library with my boots on. There was people around me when I was taking this pictures. But why should I care anymore? I already have my tall riding boots on. 🙂 They are really comfortable and hot!

The way I removed the moldy smell from the riding boots is put a small bag of baking soda wrapped in paper towel, inside the boots and use air bags to close the opening to ensure the baking soda is absorbing the odor.

Yesterday, Morris, Larry’s neighbor, bought one of my riding boots on eBay. I was glad that the boots was sold at a good price and to a hot bootman who will take care them nicely for me and will wear them to this year’s Folsom street fair in San francisco. He asked to me attach a pair of socks. So I went out wearing ‘his’ boots to a park and walked for three miles to add some flavor to my white hanes socks and to help him break them in a bit. I can’t wear them at home since we have carpet floors. So I keep wearing the same sock with my rubber boots to give them a nice touch. So, Morris I hope they will work out for you and you will have a great time wearing them.

It’s a pleasure for me to meet an Asian bootman. Nice to meet you, Morris.

I have sent the boots this morning. You should receive it in the next few days.

  1. Hi!

Thank you very much for posting those wonderful pics!!!!!

Do you have pics of those riding boots you just sold on eBay to Morris? If so, could you post them also?

Also, I have a question. I know that the uniform in mainland Chinese army included boots since at least fifties, maybe earlier. How deep is the history of boots in China? How much of a problem was to get a pair of leather boots there ?

    Thanks!

  2. Good evening Wabootboy,

I’m glad that I won your tall handsome Tower Bridge riding boots. They look awesome! I can’t wait to try them on. Thank you very much for breaking in the boots for me and also for imparting your scent into your boots socks with your rubber boots. I appreciate it. I’ll wear your Tower Bridge boots proudly to this year’s Folsom Street Fair. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Many thanks again for your nice comments. I hope we’ll keep in touch. Booted hugs to you.
